Absolutely one of the most beautiful short hikes ive been on in the area. worth the stop for sure with plenty of parking. i will say trust the address on the gps you will pass a park that has the same name before the cliffs are viewable but keep going you will go around the cliffs and find a sign on the left and right of the bridge that crosses the river "big bridge" take the sign into the park on the left if your heading west!

Beautiful location. There's a pretty short hike to a big tunnel coming out of a vertical rock face with a nice short waterfall. There is also a short hike (but a steep one) to a great lookout point over the river. While parking I also saw several people loading rafts and boats into the river from here

The river is a great place to find fossils. It's a bit busy, at least when we went. There are several hiking trails and the police do monitor it to rid it of drunks. Drink bring alcohol because they will dump it out themselves, if not arrest you on the spot. Some places may be rough swimming after rains, but there are a few places that this can still be done without a problem.

Overall we had a lot of fun! Water was really warm and perfect! Gorgeous overlook on a short trail hike. Haven't been to all the trails tho yet. Will be back, less than an hour from nashville! Lots of canoeing! You can bring dogs too just make sure they are on a leash.

Very nice park area, and some hiking trails but seems mainly aimed at canoe and kayakers. There is a very cool cave/waterfall that was dug out to harness the power of the river. Worth a visit for sure, lots of fun for the family!
