I was able to have this first time experience for a day and half because of the company I work for. I can honestly say that not doing this in this type of setting with all of the support and encourage along the way it may have never happened for me. CLK has an annual Top 12 contest for all leasing agents and assistant managers for the entire company and the top 12 best performers are recognized throughout the entire company of at least 200+ employees. I have always considered myself to be a very well rounded person so to my surprise all 13 of us piled up in a 15 passenger party bus type van and we head far out in the woods where most of us lost phone service. I can say that I truly enjoyed myself with all the activities that was designed for our group that focused heavily on team building and trust. We even got a chance to over come some of our fears of heights and a lot of first timers were able to zip line and have fun all at the same time. Gwen our facilitator had so much patience with each and everyone of us and she always asked after each course what did we get out of the exercise and how will we be able to use what was learned in our daily work.

I took my girls basketball team for a team building experience. The activities were challenging but fun and made my girls work together to problem solve. We left the facility with a much better understanding of each other and how to work better together. We are looking for another opportunity to go back and just have some fun on the zip lines!
